The pink white rose like flowers give way to clusters of large blackberries in summer that ripen in June. Fruits best in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well drained soils. Osage's low chill requirement (45 F) makes it a good choice for the south. Excellent disease and pest resistance, but intolerant of
